I was originally from the Philippines but immigrated in Canada in 2004. My interests have always been personal development and business. My strengths are: Focus, Relator, Achiever, Maximizer, Discipline. My qualifications include being in Canada's Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs from PROFIT & Chatelaine Magazines, Woman of the Year in the International Business Awards category from The Stevies, but most of all learning that these accolades meant nothing unless I connect deeply to find my own definition of an authentic next level. It was not a medal or a trophy but something more meaningful than the achievements. Today I help professional women small owned businesses with my signature system. Are you ready to find your authentic next level?
With a Kolbe profile of 7 6 4 3 and Briggs Myers of I S TJ, I always have a method to my madness :) What is interesting about me is that I like to call myself a blend between serious business acumen and open-minded joy. With a core value of freedom and almost 3 decades history of advising already successful business owners how to step up to the next level, I have learned that taking our business seriously and enjoying our work and life are not mutually exclusive.
I stretch myself all the time by doing something new. My specialty from a past life was being a Certified Public Accountant with specialty in external audit. Then I became a travel agent when I was doing my Masters In Business Administration before I immigrated to Canada. In North America I became a certified Law of Attraction Coach while also working part time as a Payroll Officer in Downtown Vancouver. In 2007, I met the man of my dreams and became a small family business co-owner. Twelve years later into the family business and I moved to become a certified virtual business coach. I'm always reinventing myself and looking forward to seeing my "super self" :) I'm an avid reader of business, personal development books, and romance novels :) I love adventure as you can see in my profile. Parasail check, sky dive check, bungy jump check, zip trek check.
This is my blended family who are also the stakeholders in our family business. They gave me inspiration daily in continuing to do what I do in my life and business. My son continues to be my mentor every day, my bonus daughter who always remind me that she's a sister I never had, and my husband who continue to not only drive me crazy (as he's also a business partner!) sometimes but do show his love on a day to day basis by allowing me to always be in my unique ability. This photo has been one of my "badges" being presented the Top 5 and Top 84 spots in 2014 and 2012 to be on Canada's Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs. It's definitely a feather in my cap! :) Here is an article where I shared a valuable lesson together with the other women in the list: https://www.canadianbusiness.com/leadership/11-essential-business-lessons-for-entrepreneurs/
One of the projects where I was a "brain" (I convinced my business partners to be on the show and supported them to make it happen) was having one of our joint venture partners do a presentation of our shellfish, Geoduck clam, on CBC's Dragon's Den. In this photo you can see the "dragons" doing a due diligence with our Canadian Investment Opportunity. You can watch the video of the show here: https://www.cbc.ca/player/play/2210388988/
Yes that's me, summer of 2018 in Nanaimo, BC. I woke up that day and told myself I was ready to bungy jump. It was on my bucket list for 10 years :) What's on your bucket list?
I was honoured to be on The Stevies International Business Awards in 2017 and 2018. Here's a video of this ceremony held in Barcelona, Spain: https://youtu.be/HqEUwqfHwTE and https://youtu.be/KmN2kYySLZc
This was in November 2016 in Machu Pichu after I camped and hiked the Andean mountains for 5 days with a group of amazing people. The program was called "Give & Grow" hosted by my one of my mentors. We visited some orphanages during that trip that opened my eyes on how I had abandonment issues lol T'was fun and fulfilling at the same time :)
My husband and I were having a rough time on our 8th year (In 2020, we celebrated our 12th year) anniversary so decided to renew our marriage vows. We lived in Las Vegas during that Canadian winter so t'was a perfect place :) My son get to witnessed this event with a "clay ceremony" :)
I met Lourdes at an entrepreneur of the year event. We stayed in touch because of one powerful conversation. We have since then had multiple powerful conversations. And now that she has officially become a Brain I am confi...
